Planzy is a running coach app. This page explains what data the app collects, why, who helps us process it, and how you can delete it. The app is published by Artem Ptashnik, who is responsible for your data. Questions: help@planzy.ai.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email, profile picture and how you signed in (Apple, Google, Strava, Garmin or a one-time email code).
- Profile you enter: gender, date of birth, height, weight, units, time zone, goals and races, and your answers about training history, injuries, sleep, stress, nutrition and terrain.
- Training and health data from services you connect: workouts and their routes, pace, heart rate and heart rate variability, VO2max, power, steps, calories and sleep, and, if you allow it, nutrition and blood glucose. Sources can be Apple Health, Strava, Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Polar, COROS, Suunto, Amazfit/Zepp and intervals.icu. You choose what to connect, and we read only what you allow.
- Your feedback: how hard each run felt and how you felt.
- Location: your last known location, used for weather and the race map. The app does not track you in the background.
- Device and usage data: app events, crash reports and a push notification token.
We never see your payment card. Subscriptions are handled by Apple.
How we use it
To build and adjust your training plan, show your stats, send workouts to your watch or connected service, send sign-in codes and notifications, answer support requests, and find and fix problems in the app. We do not sell your data.
Data from Apple Health is used only to provide training features in Planzy. We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it.
Who processes data for us
- Cloud hosting (USA and EU): our servers and database. Data of users in the US is stored in the US, and data of users in Europe is stored in the EU.
- Amazon Web Services (USA): backups of imported workout data.
- Google Firebase (USA): analytics, crash reports and push notifications.
- RevenueCat (USA): subscription status.
- Twilio SendGrid (USA): emails with sign-in codes.
- Stadia Maps: maps.
- Telegram: internal notifications to our team about new sign-ups.
When you connect a service such as Garmin or Strava, or ask us to send a workout there, that service’s own privacy policy also applies.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Delete account in the app’s settings removes your account, profile, plans and connected services. To also remove your workout history and backups, email help@planzy.ai and we will delete them within 30 days. You can disconnect a service in the app at any time and revoke Planzy’s access in that service’s settings.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop processing it. Write to help@planzy.ai. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Planzy is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to it is limited to people who need it to run the app. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
This website
planzy.ai does not use cookies, analytics or tracking.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
